Kenneth Levin is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War and author of both Crazy Razor: A Novel of the Vietnam War as well as The Many Deaths of Comrade Binh: Tales from the Vietnam War.  Forced to retire from the United States Navy due to blindness, he has seen his written works through several drafts.  He incorporated his own wartime experience into his books, and also traveled back to Southeast Asia in order to include the perspective of veterans of the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army.  He is an alumnus of both Washington University in St. Louis and the US Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
